Workshop: Perfecting Grammar/Finding Research Sources

October 2, 2012

A&H Graduate Student Workshop

Topic: Perfecting Grammar/Finding Research Sources
Date and Time: Thursday, October 4, 12:00 – 1:30
Location: McDermott Library, MC 4.1 (* Please note that the location has been changed to the conference room in the library’s suite of administrative offices .)

This week, the Writing Center and the McDermott Library will present the second workshop in their fall 2012 series for A&H graduate students. Please join us to learn more about how to enhance your writing and research skills.

The workshop will demonstrate how to improve your research methods through using effective search strategies. It will also address important grammar conventions by focusing on how to employ the principles of agreement, modification, parallelism, and active voice in your writing.

The workshop will include an open-question forum, and Professor Jessica Murphy will be on hand to take your questions and offer advice about your individual concerns.

If you can’t attend the entire session, please feel free to sit in on the discussion for as long as your schedule permits.

You can email Thomasina Hickmann with any questions about the workshop:
